Energy efficiency isn’t just good for tenants — it’s a legal requirement for landlords and can even turn into profit, if you do it right!
With new EPC rules on the horizon and increasing pressure to decarbonise housing, Yuno gives you the tools to upgrade properties efficiently and compliantly.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rates the energy efficiency of a property from A (most efficient) to G (least). In the UK, an EPC is legally required to let or renew any residential property. Since 2020, rental properties must meet a minimum EPC rating of E. But change is coming.
From 2025, government proposals are expected to raise the bar, requiring all newly rented properties in England and Wales to have a minimum EPC rating of C by 2030.
Failing to comply with EPC requirements could cost you — financially and legally. Risks include:
We assess your EPC and create a roadmap to achieve C or above — aligned to MEES and future regulation.
We evaluate existing insulation, windows, heating systems, and risks before you spend a penny.
We identify applicable grants and help you apply for them — increasing ROI. Boiler Upgrade Scheme, Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Warm Homes grant, Relevant VAT relief
We link you with accredited contractors and materials tailored to your scope and budget.
Track upgrade progress and keep all documentation in one place using the Yuno platform.
We provide personalised energy guidance to help you understand your options and timelines.
